Hello, I am a college student and I was wondering if some kind of stylus or pen tool will be included in the ADAM, also I would like to know if ubuntu or windows can be installed on the ADAM. I don’t think Android(known for phones) should be offered on the ADAM. Also, can tis beat the HP SLATE or MICROSOFT COURIER? They’re the best two coming out soon. Please reply as soon as possible. Thanks and you guys have an awesome site!
First, you will not be able to install any x86 OS on Adam. Reason – It is ARM-based which does not allow you to run Windows. However, it might be possible to run Ubuntu on it since there is an ARM version of it. That said, there is no guarantee that everything will work out of box.
If I were you, I would go for the HP Slate which can run both Windows and Linux (Ubuntu in your case)
Unfortunately, the Courier has been canceled by Microsoft, which is a huge shame but this looks amazing. I’ve heard it is a capacitive touch screen which allows a veyr limited selection and possibly expensive choice of styluses that you can use with it. thats the only downside ive found and its pretty big considering im in uni and would also use it for note taking
Call me an old fashion dude but I still need a hardware keyboard to take notes
