Nokia N900 unboxed! – best looking MID
Nokia N900 is the Nokia’s latest offering for the MID-lovers. The Nokia N900 runs Maemo OS and comes with a 5MP camera. Orzlive.com was able to get hold of N900 and they have posted few unboxing pictures of this beauty.
Features:
- Full QWERTY keyboard
- Built-in GPS,、Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
- Display: 3.5-inch
- Resolution:800 x 480
- OS: Maemo 5
- FM radio
- 5MP camera
If the Nokia N900 had the capability to run Windows XP OS or even Ubuntu, I would have already bought it. Also, another big ‘minus’ in N900 is the fact that there is still no bump in resolution. It still runs at WVGA resolution, which is no more considered as ‘de-facto’. We thought that 2 years were enough for Nokia to realize that people want to see more at a time, but we were wrong!

Er these pics are from the FCC site in the US! admit it you have never even seen thing let alone held one!
Well, our source says that they have the unboxing pics :)
This isn’t a MID, it’s a phone. Granted, the lines are blurring, but this is definitely moving more towards phone and away from Internet Tablet. The comment about WVGA not being high-enough res is just silly given the 3.5″ screen. Except for the HTC Touch Pro 2, what other phone has better than HVGA?
FYI
HTC Touch Pro 2 has same resolution as the N900, being 800×480
