New NEC MID runs Android OS
NEC is working on a 7-8-inch MID that looks to be running Android OS and has built-in 3G and WiFi. This is clearly a direct competitor to the Archos 9 Tablet and upcoming Apple’s iTablet. Archos 9 has 9-inch display and Apple tablet is rumored to have 10-inch display. Archos 9, however, runs Windows 7 OS unlike iTablet which will run iPhone OS and NEC MID that runs Android OS respectively.
