Kohjinsha now selling UMID M1 as Kohjinsha PM series
UMID M1 is one of the smallest touchscreen clamshell we have ever come around. This little beauty will be rebranded and sold under Kohjinsha’s brandname too. Kohjinsha will be selling it under their PM-series.
Unfortunately, Kohjinsha has not upgraded the hardware. This means you have this little unit with paltry 512MB RAM. We can bear with the 16GB solid state drive, but it hurts when are spending more than $600 on a device that has less than 2GB RAM.
Here are its full specs:
- Intel Atom processor Z510@ 1.1GHz
- 16GB SSD
- 512MB RAM (!)
- 4.8-inch 1024×600 display
- 1.3MP webcam
- 1 mini-USB port
- SDHC slot
- WiFi (b/g)
- BT 2.0 + EDR
- 345gm
- Windows XP
Kohjinsha is selling it for 59,800 yen ($640)
