7-inch MID – HOTT MH700
HOTT has officially released a new MID called the MH700. This MID or Tablet, whatever way you feel like calling it, dons an impressive 7-inch display and 1080p video playback capability, something still lacking in most of the MIDs that we see around. Other specifications are:
- 7-inch WVGA display (16:9)
- WIndows CE operating system
- Dimensions: 192 x 115 x 14.5mm
- Wi-Fi
- Built-in 3G
The company is not only marketing it as a MID, but also as a PMP (portable media player). And yes, it does not falls short in impressing us with its support for a heap of audio and video codecs.
Supported codecs are – MP3, WMVA, OGG, FLAC, APE, AVI, RM / RMVB, MKV, FLV, DAT, VOB, WMV, MPG, MP4/M4V formats, each up to 30 FPS. It also supports image formats, including BMP, JPEG, PNG, GIF picture format. Priced at $120, we are very impressed with it.
