EviGorup Paddle updated
Lately, myriad of companies have been busily engrossed in churning-out iPad-like slates. Here is another one, which is surprisingly, not from the Dragon Land (see this, this, this and this). EviGroup, a French company unveiled a slate powered by the good ‘ol Atom N270 processor back in October 2009. Now, EviGroup is preparing to release it for the public and has given it an updated look.
Like iPad, it offers multi-touch, chrome finish, but also has HDD as an option (160GB-320GB). You can get one with upto 32GB of solid state goodness if you have a soft side for SSDs. However, it certainly sounds a bit pricey at 699 Euros, but it has USB ports that does not force you to use adapters like in the case of Apple iPad.
The company has confirmed that Paddle will be available in the Q2 2010.
