A $50 netbook running Linux – Zipit Z2 – Cheapest netbook ever!

Hunter Davis has been able to put Linux Kernel 2.6.29 running Fluxbox (Coupled with mouse) into his $50 worth of Zipit. The microSD card serves as the filesystem and swap.

He even got the audio, WiFi and NES emulation working on this little wonder! The Zipit is a cheapo machine with an Xscale processor. Here is a video it:
