Nokia has been losing money for a while now giving in it’s monopoly on smartphone market share to Apple and Samsung. Recent stats include loss of profit from last year’s 28.7% margin to 19.9% in last quarter. The newly incurred debt of $1.2 billion just in Q4 2011 is barely helped with $250 million in the same quarter paid out by Microsoft.

Nokia is keeping its fingers crossed for success of upcoming Lumia 900 rumoured to launch on March 18th and offered at unbelievable $99 on a contract signed with AT&T. Most 4G LTE devices cost upwards of $249. Wishful thinking?
