Today we will talk about a product that is at least curious. It is the MDI M69 , the first tablet market which is a 2 in 1 but not to become a laptop, but because it has a built in projector that allows to project on a screen or wall where you want the device screen.
MDI M69 review: The MDI M69 is a tablet that at first glance seems quite thick, but if we think that has a built in projector does not seem much (it measures 1.3 centimeters thick). It features an 8-inch screen with IPS matrix and 854 x 480 pixel resolution, a resolution that does not become or HD but luckily when we send the image to the projector the result is an escalation 1080p image resolution.
To enhance the system, MDI has built-in M69 SoC Rockchip RK3188T quad-core 64-bit, accompanied by 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage space, partly occupied by the Android KitKat 4.4 operating system preinstalled. This storage can be expanded up to 32 additional GB using a micro SD memory card. Logically this hardware is designed to play but gives more than enough to make presentations in working environments or multimedia playback through the projector.
Continuing with the technical specifications, we find 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, so we can connect to high-speed Internet and wireless peripherals few want to associate. Everything is backed up with a battery of 8000 mAh, which gives the device a huge autonomy, even using the projector function.
Speaking projector, one of its strengths besides its resolution is 1080p featuring OSRAM LED lamp with more than 30,000 hours of life, so that will never need to change it. It is capable of delivering up to 150 lumens brightness with a contrast ratio of 3000 to 1, so the images will display crisp and vivid colors even in environments with light.
This MDI device is more curious than anything else because as you see is not too powerful, and have focused much more on the part of projector in the tablet. However it remains a curious product and that surely you may benefit substantially in appropriate situations, such as meetings to present projects, or even when we go on vacation and want to see a movie literally on the wall the room. Possible uses are many.
