Ready to fall in love with your house again? Meet Iris! Iris is a cloud-based home monitoring system keeping track of things at home. There are various apps for various platforms helping you to manage appliances, lights or security. Lowe is hoping that their Iris will become a one stop shopping for all your home monitoring needs.
Using small easy to install wireless gadgets Iris manages your home security. Iris emails, calls or sends SMS whenever your security sensors are triggered. You can use Iris to regulate your thermostat at home to reduce your heating or cooling costs. Forgot to turn your lights off? Did you lock the door this morning? Use Iris to do all that in your absence. Get text when kids come home from school.

You may not worry about anyone yet, but if you have elderly parents, or grandparents who, given their age, forget thing or two, like to close their main door at night, or turn off their stove, or they fell down and can’t make it to the phone to call for help.
