Lenovo have announced the K900, a stunning feat of flagship smartphone engineering – 5.5-inch 1080p IPS touchscreen, 2GB RAM and 2GHz Clover Trail chip.
Lenovo says K900 is the thinnest in its class at 6.9mm.
Touchscreen is on par with Samsung Note 2, brightness is first-class and resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels – bright, sharp, and vibrant. The pixel density is 400ppi. The Lenovo K900 in matters of appearance is carbon fiber and brushed metal body.
Out back is an 13MP LED flash camera F1.8 lens means flashless snaps are a reality. The front-facing webcam offers 88 degree visibility so you’ll always be in shot. That giant panel is protected by fabulous smudge- and scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass 2. Lenovo is yet to confirm formal pricing.
Ticking under the hood is Lenovo’s first new Intel 2GHz dual-core Z2580 processor (Clover Trail+) with 2GB of RAM and PowerVR SGX 544MP graphics with 16GB of built in storage.
Phonearena showed a benchmark test AnTuTu of this new K900 and results were astonishing.
Intel 2GHz dual-core Z2580 processor of Clover Trail family benchmarked at 25,481! It wasn’t too long ago we were taken by the processing power of Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 results of around 14,000. How well will Z2580 do against Samsung 8-Core Exynos 5 Octa remains to be seen.
On the down side, Lenovo K900 will not support 4G LTE. Sadly K900 is not going on sale for three months yet, and then only in People’s Republic of China. It will be available in Copper, Black, and Silver.
