iPhone 3GS still going strong
I thought iPhone 3GS was old news. There were number of milestone upgrades since the 3GS came to be in 2009. iPhone Gadgets report that despite the iPhone 4S selling like you wouldn’t believe, iPhone 3GS still sells well. iPhone 3GS is the second best selling smartphone only to iPhone 4S, beating even Samsung Galaxy SII.
The continuing success of iPhone 3GS is to be contributed to Apple’s decision to offer 3GS for AT&T customers for free, so long as they sign up. Over 2 million iPhone 3GS are to be sold in this pre Christmas season and in Q1 iPhone 3GS is still going to be strong at forecasted 1.5 million units sold.
