The charger comes with a battery inside (Nokia BL-5C), which can be charged in the charger itself. No need to take it out. I appreciate the fact that the they went with a removable battery.

It can charge the devices connected to it and its internal battery at the time. The charger has two indicators, red and green, where red indicates that the battery is being charged and green indicates that the battery is fully charged.
