Kamal DS,

Thank you so much, that was very easy. I appreciate your article and tips. Now I've got my Firefox back to normal use on my favourite netbook.

Thanks again,
Dave

Dave, right click on the any toolbar. You should get a toolbar menu. Click on customize. Drag the "Activity Indicator" anywhere in the toolbar

Hi there,

Thanks for the tip, that worked well. I was so disappointed when I upgrade to 3.5 and lost so much screen space. Anyways, the only downside to hiding the tab bar now is that you lose the throbber which shows that a page is loading. Without it, it's hard to tell if you clicked on a link or not to see that the page is loading.

Do you know how to bring the throbber back to the original position?

I tried looking through the about:config but had no luck finding a setting for it. I have a feeling it might be in the userchrome or something like that.

Thanks,
Dave
