Few months back, we did the unboxing of the VAIO P. However, since then, we did not ever published its full review. We have criticized VAIO P heavily (see THIS), but we need to understand one fact that is VAIO P is a crop of its own.
Anyway, been using VAIO P from past few months, I am now fully aware of its pros and cons. Now, how is the immediate out of box experience. To be honest, you immediately feel its slowness as soon as you take it out of the box. It took it 30 minutes to take me to the desktop! Then, even after the desktop was loaded, it was very slow.

The Shanzai have got news from a manufacturer in China who have made a clone of the popular Acer Aspire D250 netbook. It is being sold by the name of Suncu 12. As its name suggests, it is an 12-inch netbook that looks a lot like the Acer’s Aspire D250. It comes with an Atom N270 processor, 1GB RAM, 160GB and 6-cell battery (4400mAh). The 12-inch display has 1280×800 resolution which is pretty common in laptops.
The bigger screen makes the overall frame bigger, which actually allowed the company to fit in a bigger keyboard too.
Acer has announced that they are soon going to release a revision of their popular D250 model that will be equipped with a 1280×720 pixel display. The current D250 model comes with a WSVGA display (1024×600).
Other than improved display, nothing else seems to be different from the current model. It still comes with Intel Atom N280 CPU, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD and weighs 1.3kg.
Commentary: Although we do not have any problem with the netbooks with WSVGA display, but higher resolution will allow the users to view more content on the screen at a time. So, this will not only improve web-experience, but will also remove some of annoyances caused by some applications that require 1280 x xxx pixel display.
