With so many netbook manufactures now breaking into the 10-inch+ screen limit, Acer was no way going to left behind in the business where it actually rules. The Acer A0751H is the first Acer Aspire One to sport an Intel Atom Z 520 processor that is clocked at 1.3GHz. Archos 5 Internet Tablet pros and cons

Should you buy the Archos 5 Internet Tablet, which has been hyped a lot by the Internet community as the iPod Touch/Zune HD killer? Well, here are the pros and cons (thanks to cnet) that you should keep in mind before shelling out $350+ on it

Pros:

(+) Video player on the Archos 5 Internet Tablet is one of the best out there. HD-videos, XviD videos, AVIs, WMVs all worked without a hitch

(+) 4.8 inch WVGA LCD is sharp and has vivid colors.

(+) Display is fine even under daylight

Cons:

(-) Slower in normal operations compared to iPod Touch and Zune HD

(-) No capacitive screen

(-) No multi-touch

(-) Majority of Android apps not supported

(-) Thumbnail previews and transitions not as fast and fluid as iPod Touch, which the Archos 5 Tablet aims to compete with

(-) If you are having problems with that micro-SD card, get this firmware update. Why Archos 5 Internet Tablet even shipped with a half-baked ROM is beyond our thinking

(-) No Youtube, Pandora, Slacker etc

(-) To get the GPS to work, you need to pay an extra $130 to activate NDrive GPS navigation system

(-) GPS reception not impressive

Clearly, the cons overshadow the pros which brings us to conclusion that YOU SHOULD REFRAIN YOURSELF FROM BUYING ARCHOS 5 INTERNET TABLET until the Archos fixes all the aforementioned issues
