ASUS EEE 1101HA review

The ASUS EEE 1101HA is the epitomization of good looks combined with great battery life. It carries the same Seashell design like its 10-inch brother, EEE 1008HA. But, the ASUS has entering a bit late into the 11.6-inch netbook market, but that does not make it an unattractive deal by any chance. It is a great netbook.

Acer AO751H REVIEW (same as Acer LT3000) (Acer Aspire One 751)

With so many netbook manufactures now breaking into the 10-inch+ screen limit, Acer was no way going to left behind in the business where it actually rules. The Acer A0751H is the first Acer Aspire One to sport an Intel Atom Z 520 processor that is clocked at 1.3GHz. However, the best part of this netbook is its resolution: 1366 x 768 px, which gives it an obvious edge over its competitors. So, was it able to impress us?

Archos 10s for just 195 Pounds at ASDA [Correction: It is Archos 10, not 10s]

ASDA is selling Archos 10s 10 for mere £195. However, keep in mind that this is with a 3-cell battery. So the battery life may not last more than 3 hours. I leave it to you to make out if it is a good deal for you or not.

Specs: Intel Atom N270, 10.2-inch 1024×600 display, WiFi, 3-cell battery and Windows XP Home

PS: It is for a limited period. So hurry!

Just received one of these Archos netbooks from Asda. Firstly it is NOT the 10s model but is the older 10 version in black despite the advertisments and the invoice saying it’s a 10s.
Also not sure if the one I have is normal or faulty but the wifi reception is cr4p. Any more than 6 ft from the transmitter and the signal drops rapidly. This means that I cannot use the internet in my living room with the Archos when I can easily do so with my HP laptop. Anyone else noticed this?
Also disappointing that the tracker pad does not have vertical scroll function like most others I have used. Not sure I will keep it at the moment due to the inadequite wifi capability.

This is cheating. You should return it to ASDA and ask for refund.

PS: I’ve updated the post. Thanks!

I am returning it and advising them to change their advertising as they are probably breeching the trades description act. Their web site specifically details the 10s and not the 10 that is supplied. I am also returning it because the Wifi is faulty. I also don’t like the keyboard, the keys do not have chamfered edges and so it is very easy to catch the edge of the key next to the one you want when typing. Some of the keys are tiny too, the return key and shift keys in particular. Overall it is not as good to use as the 8.9″ Acer ONE A150 I current have.

  4. dcs27 says:

By the way, perhaps you should change the picture in this artical too, it still shows the 10s.

  5. dcs27 says:

    Thanks, pic correct now.
