OCOSMOS OCS1 Oak Trail Powered handheld

  • Sharebar

Just a few months ago, the Ocosmos OCS 1 was released by a Korean company. The device uses the Intel Atom Oak Trail single core 1.5GHz or 1.9GHz processor with GMA 600 400MHz graphics processor with support for HD video decoding and a solid hard drive of 32GB. The device specs have been finally released and the US as well as Korea might get the chance to buy the device. The launch is by 2011 and will be handled by AT&T US as well as KT Korea. The device is really a handheld computer that looks like a gaming device or a phone. The screen slides up to reveal the QWERTY keys. The device runs on Windows 7 and can play 720p HD vids. The device also has a 5 inch, 1024 x 768 pixel capacitive screen and other networking and wireless tools attached. It has 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS and connects to 3G network. This little computer has microSD card for more storage and a USB 2.0 port. It may be a nice addition to existing gaming devices although it does miss a cd drive.
