Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070Ti has been made official by the company. 1070Ti is packed with 2,432 cores and 8 GB of memory running at 8Gbps for a total bandwidth of 256 GB/s. The GTX 1070Ti has higher number of cores than 1070. Also the power requirement is 180W in case of 1070Ti. 1070 consumes 150W. The base/boost clock speed has been bumped to 1607/1683MHz from 1506/1683MHz. It delivers double the performance of the legendary GeForce GTX 970 which was its predecessor. As its name suggests, the performance of Nvidia 1070Ti is somewhere between 1070 and 1080/1080Ti.
The Nvidia 1070Ti is excellent for handling your graphical demands such as DirectX 12, HDR and high end gaming. It is great alternative for the much more expensive GTX 1080 and 1080Ti. The GTX 1070Ti graphics card will start shipping on November 2nd 2017 from various GeForce partner network that includes ASUS, Colorful, EVGA, Gainward, Galaxy, Gigabyte, Inno3D, MSI, Palit, PNY and Zotac.
The existence of the Nvidia 1070Ti was confirmed earlier this month through MSI Afterburner. Hardware manufactures often get the overclocking tools updated and that slipped the name of 1070Ti.
Comparison chart of GTX 1080Ti vs 1070 vs 1060 vs 1050
Suggested retail price of Nvidia 1070Ti is $449 which makes it much cheaper than the 1080-series. This is an excellent alternative for those who find the GTX 1060 too weak for their needs and 1080-series a bit overkill.
