Nintendo Wii U at CES
Nintendo showcased their newest and hottest at the CES 2012. Free Nintendo DS Roms reported a new Wii U spotted at their booth.
Wii was around since 2006 and they’re many followers who swear by it. Of course this CES clearly showed a stiff competition coming from tablets (especially the quad-core ones), ultrabooks and most importantly speedy smartphones capable of playing games without a glitch and in high resolutions.
Latest Wii U from Nintendo looks more like a tablet with a touchscreen display. The latest console Wii U is the last compatible with Wii paddles and contains built in sensor taking into account the movements of older controllers. After this Wii U we hear there may be a compatibility issue. This of course could just be lame marketing strategy to boost the below expectation sales.
Wii U is promised to hit the shelves in summer.
