Sony PRS-350, PRS-650 eReaders
Sony believes that by improving the features and setting a higher price point is the way to secure the interest of digital bookworms. Sony has tweaked the entire range of its eReaders – Pocket, Touch and Daily edition. All of the three models now sport eInk Pearl display that were used in Kindle and DX.
The eReaders have also been trimmed and boast slimmer profiles. The smaller 5-inch Pocket Edition has gone from PRS-300 to PRS-350 and the Touch Edition has gone from PRS-600 to PRS-650.
These eReaders is already available at Sony’s site 180 and 230 dollars. However, the larger Daily edition that features 7-inch display, Wi-Fi and 3G (from AT&T) will hit the shelves later for about 300 dollars.
