Simple Touch Reader – Update
Barnes & Noble may have announced an upgrade for their Nook Touch, but existing customers needn’t worry about being left by the wayside. They have released a firmware update for the Simple Touch Reader.
The Barnes & Noble 6-inch device was the first full touchscreen eReader, launched earlier this year. The upgrade offers several enhancements, including longer battery life, 25% faster page turns, and improved screen responsiveness. The update also renders text and PDF documents at a high resolution. The Simple Touch Reader can now hold charge for almost 8 weeks.
