kobo-ereaderA 6 inch eReader Kobo Touch Edition was exposed at BookExpo America. Kobo eReader Touch Edition has a Merriam Webster dictionary as well as virtual keyboard and highlighting technology which makes it really easy to look up words you’re not familiar with.

Thanks to freescale i.MX507 processor the page turning and overall responsiveness is outstanding. New Pearl eInk technology on Zeforce infrared touchscreen is giving this Kobo eReader really crisp viewer experience. Another handy thing with Kobo eReader is its syncing bookmark technology, which helps you remember where you’ve left off reading. Kobo eReader reads ePub, pdf and most standard format files very well, even lets you zoom in, out and around without a glitch.

Kobo eReader has 1GB of memory and up to 32GB of storage. It also has microSD and comes in black, blue, silver and white. Shipping of Kobo eReader Touch Edition will begin next month and can be pre ordered at Borders, Best Buy, and Walmart. The cost will be $129 and the older model should you still find it will cost $99.
