Asus eReader DR-950
More Asus eReader news. Asus is working on a new ereader, known as the DR-950. This one, unlike the OLED DR-570, has a bigger 9-inch grayscale touch screen. The touhscreen has 1024×768 resolution and the weight of the device is just 370gm. Pretty light for a device with 9-inch screen, the DR-950 comes with 2 or 4GB of internal memory, SD card slot, WiFi and HSDPA, optional WiMAX, integrated stereo speakers, 3.5mm audio jack and a USB port. It will come with various nifty utilities including a software for RSS feeds and translation and text to speech app. ,
Supported formats include PDF, TXT, Audible, MP3, HTML and the common picture file formats. Although there is no information on its price, but it is being predicted that DR-950 will be cheaper than its brother DR-570
