Dell U3818DW 4K resolution computer monitor released

Dell recently introduced a new member in its Ultrasharp family of high-end monitors, the U3818DW . This monitor is quite unusual, because of a curved screen 37.5 inches and ultra- format 21: 9 we would expect a resolution of 3440 x 1440, and yet this model has the atypical resolution of 3840 x 1600 pixels. The Dell U3818DW mounts a 37.5-inch AH-IPS panel that has a 2300R curvature, with an aspect ratio that is not actually 21: 9 but 24:10 given its 3840 x 1600 pixel resolution. The panel has a refresh rate of 60 Hz with a response time of 8 ms GtG although it has “Fast” mode which in theory drops to 5 ms this value, providing a static contrast ratio of 1000 to 1 and angles 178 degree vision on both axes.

The panel is backlit by a WLED (white LED) panel with flicker free anti-blink technology that provides 99% of the sRGB color spectrum. The panel supports 10-bit color using an 8-bit FRC flicker technology, so it is not native. As a member of the Ultrasharp family, this new Dell monitor features a fully ergonomic base for tilt, swivel and height adjustment. In addition, it can be put and removed with just one button and supports VESA 100 anchorage.
