Asus Eee Pad Slider pre-order
The Asus Eee Pad Slider has been spotted in the UK and Poland gets its hands on it in August. The US will see the Asus Eee Pad Slider in stores at the end of August tool. Excaliber has already pulled a sales page where you can pre-order the Slider. Two storage options are offered. 16GB, and 32GB.
The Asus Eee Pad Slider is powered by an Nvidia Tegra 2 processor and runs Android 3.1 Honeycomb OS. The 10.1-inch IPS touch display has nice a 1280 x 800 resolution. The keyboard slides out to give this tablet netbook its name. The Asus Eee Pad Slider has two cameras; the front facing one is 1.2MP, and the rear facing camera 5MP. To connect to the internet you can use 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. There is a USB 2.0 port, mini HDMI, and a MicroSD card reader. Slider also has a GPS, and an 8 hour battery.
To recap the specification: Nvidia Tegra 2 chip, 1GB of RAM, 1280 x 800 10.1-inch IPS capacitive touch display, slide-out keyboard, 1.2M / 5M front and rear cameras, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB 2.0, mini HDMI 1.3a, MicroSD card reader, GPS, an 8 hour battery and Android 3.1 Honeycomb.
