Asus’ CEO Jerry Shen reveled some details on the upcoming Eee Pad lineup as-well-as on the rumored 600 dollar Eee Tablet. It appears that we can expect 3 versions. First is the Eee Tablet Reader which is going to be priced at 300 dollars instead of 600. Expect it to show up in the month of October.
Next is the Eee Pad. This model will be bundled with either Android, Windows 7 or Windows Embedded Compact 7 (same as Windows CE).
The Android version, sporting the model number EP101TC is expected to come in the month of March next year. The good news is that it will have a price tag of less than 400 dollars. How much less than 400 dollars remains a question. The Eee Pad with Windows CE will have a 10-inch display and under 500 price tag. This will crawl-out in January 2011 (CES time).
