NEC LaVie M review – LM350/VG and LM330/VH
NEC LaVie M is a CULV notebook that sports an Ultra Low Voltage Celeron SU2300 CPU that runs at 1.2GHz clock speed. It comes with Windows 7 Home Premium operating system pre-installed. For storage, you get 320GB hard disk and 4GB RAM in the LM350 model and 2GB RAM in the LM330.
It has 3 USB 2.0 ports and also features HDMI port.
It weighs 1.77kg. True, it is not that light but then it has a frame bigger than the conventional netbook which weighs generally between 1-1.4kg.

Its 13.3-inch LED screen is glossy in nature and packs 1366×768 pixels. Regarding its battery life, you will be able to get 8.8 hours from his extended battery and 4.1 hours from his standard battery.
Regarding its performance, you get double the performance (as per PCMark test) as compared to the Atom N270 CPU that is still being used in many netbooks. So it is an excellent machine to carry around
Price:
LM330/VH: $1050 (95,000 yen)
LM350/VG: $1390 (125,000 yen)
