Must have Firefox addons for your netbook – Article

  • Sharebar

Most of us use Firefox on our netbooks and we love it. The reason is simple: it is the most customizable and powerful browser ever made. However, we must chew the fact that while running certain websites on our netbooks, the firefox makes the netbook dog-slow. Here are few addons that you should use on your firefox to give yourself a more pleasant experience:

1. Adblock plus: It is the first addon that I install immediately after any firefox installation. As its name suggests, it does not load any ads on a webpage, making the over browsing experience faster (and more secure)

2. Flash block: Flash is deadly for a netbook. Except for youtube, which uses flash to show you the videos, I do not recommend going to websites that use flash. Why? Flash websites makes your netbook  to crawl. Literally.

3. Tiny Menu: Most of the netbooks come with 1024×600 resolution screens. To make the most of it, you should make sure that you use as many pixels as you can while browsing. Unfortunately, by default firefox occupies a lot of screen estate. Use tiny menu to group all the menus into a one (or more) single menu(s).

So, just install the above three addons and have a great firefox web-browsing experience!
