Android Supports Data Encryption

  • Sharebar

It seems like Android tablets have something hidden up its sleeves, it was revealed that the Motorola Xoom tablet that uses Android actually has an encryption tool that is hidden. You can encrypt the data to secure the information and lock them using a PIN. You need to have a fully charged battery or connected to an outlet since the encryption can take an hour or so. Once the encryption is done, you nominate a password that you will use every time you turn the tables on. This is not limited to the Motorola Xoom since it is embedded on the Android 3.0 Honeycomb so we will be expecting more tablets to have that feature.
