10 Cent Apps To Celebrate 10 Billion Downloads
The Android App Market has passed a significant milestone with 10 billion apps having been downloaded. To celebrate, Google is running a 10-day promotion, with a load of uber-popular apps reduced to 10 cents or 0.10 of your local currency, be that euros, pounds, rands, you name it. So if you fancy stocking up on apps or you’ve wondered about certain ones but never felt ready to take the plunge, head on down to the Android app store.
Swiftkey X (down from $4.06) comes highly recommended by our friends at netbooknews.com, a text-prediction typing program that adjusts its predictions to your ersonal writing style for improved accuracy.
SoundHound (usually $4.99) is a great app which can identify music so that need never wonder about what track is playing again. As far as games go, Asphalt 6: Adrenaline HD is a steal at 10 cents. it too normally costs $4.99 and is a thrilling racing game when you’re stuck for something to do – build a collection of supercars to race in – Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Ducati, there are no corners cut with this selection. Perhaps you’re in the office during the mid-afternoon slump or waiting in a queue, etc, etc.
Minecraft: Pocket Edition can also brighten up a few dull moments – a vast blobk-building strategy/adventure type game…it’s easier to play than to explain. Fieldrunners HD is a tower defence war game – great fun, and it will keep the gray matter ticking over too. Sketchbook Mobile and Color and Draw for Kids are two other must-haves at these prices. Go get ‘em guys and gals.
Check out the Android Market for these awesome deals.
