Netbook Dock from GearZap – It is a cooling pad+port extended! [Review]

  • Sharebar

GearZap sent us a Netbook Dock for review. I do use docks for my notebooks, but I never bought one for my netbooks. My EEE 701 and EEE 1000H run pretty hot after a couple of hours on AC power. This dock not only does the job of keeping the netbook cool, but also works as a port extender.

With the supplied cable plugged in into one of the netbook’s USB ports, you are able to gain 3 more USB ports . Not only that, there is also a place to slip in an 2.5-inch hard disk, although I’m yet to test. I do not see any reason why that would not work.

It has a cool blue LED that looks great in dark!

My EEE 701 sites perfectly on it as it meant for 7-inch and 8.9-inch netbooks only. Hop onto GearZap’s site to find one for youself if you netbook is bigger than 8.9-inch.
