Crank Dat Bass – JLab B-Flex X-Bass
Most notebook and netbook users will concede their on-board audio could use a little extra bass. A fuller audio experience, with fuller bass and less tinny higher notes makes for more enjoyable listening and enhances any movie watched on a laptop…cue the JLab B-Flex X-Bass external speaker solution.
The B-Flex X-Bass plugs into a notebook via a USB port, and is a compact speaker with a flexible but rigid cable rather than the usual limp USB cables seen on external speakers. So you can point the output in whichever direction you choose, whether that’s directly at your face while you hammer out that night’s spreadsheets or at a certain point in the room where you sit cuddled up to your other half.
Inside the single casing there is a pair of speakers for stereo sound. bas is respectable and high tones are pretty full. Not sure if the mid ranges have been neglected or if it’s just the effect of more bass and high-end that makes it feel like that. The volume is nice and loud too.
