Commodore Invictus says hello to Asus Eee Keyboard
You can call it Asus Eee Keyboard’s lost brother as Commodore has unveiled Invictus which is a keyboard that packs everything from CPU, chipset to all sort of ports. Heck, it even packs a little display for that extra screen real estate.
Specifications: Atom processor, wireless HDMI, NVidia ION, and five hours of runtime. The keyboard is not chiclet though like the Asus Eee Keyboard.

Asus EeeKeyboard now shipping
Woa! What a pathetic 17 month journey it has been with the EeeKeyboard. We nearly thought that it would end up being a vaporware as the chances of Eee Keyboard hitting the production were pretty dim. But, hey Asus has finally managed to commence the shipping.
It is already available at Amazon for $599 and no, it is not a mirage.

Asus eee keyboard clone
You have to love the manufactures of China for one reason – they make excellent clones (most of the time). Meet the Cross PC U510 or shall we say, Asus eee keyboard clone. The U510 comes with an Atom CPU, NVidia ION chipset, 250GB HDD, 2GB RAM and Wi-Fi
That is not all, it is outfitted with a touchscreen , just like the original and it supports multi-touch gestures too! Priced at $570, it has specs even stronger than the original which does not sports an ION chipset.

Asus EEE keyboard to be launched in February, 2010
Asus Eee Keyboard was scheduled to be launched many months back, but Asus kept postponing its release date. According to the latest words by Asus, it will be released in February, 2010.
To be launched at somewhere between $499 and $599, it is, with a doubt, not something that every one can afford to buy. For all that money, you are not getting a apishly agile processor. You get the usual N270 processor, 1GB RAM and 16GB SSD. Comes with a built in battery that will last for 4 hours.
Commentary: It was destined to be launched back in October 2009 for 499 Euros. Then, we heard that Asus will be postponing its launch date and will improve its specs. Nothing has changed.

ASUS EEE Keyboard launch postponed
ASUS has delayed the launch of its EEE keyboard that was originally scheduled to make its way to the market in the month of October 2009. The reason behind this delay is that the EEE keyboard has not YET passed the wireless regulation testing.
ASUS says that it will use this extra-time to upgrade the specifications of the EEE keyboard to meet the current market requirements and needs. ASUS also plans to throw in a capacitive touch screen without making any increase in its price which is $500.

ASUS Eee Keyboard to finally coming to Europe in October – Retail price 499 Euros = Too Expensive for an Atom-powered device!
After delaying it so many times, ASUS Eee Keyboard will finally ship to Europe at the end of October for 499 Euros. The unique ASUS Eee Keyboard is essentially a netbook wrapped and packed into a keyboard chassis and with a small WVGA touchscreen display. It comes with an Atom N270 Processor, VGA and HDMI out. For storage, you get a tiny 16GB SSD.
It also has3 USB 2.0 ports, WiFi and Bluetooth and it runs Windows XP Home. Its dimension are 145 x 425 x 24.4 mm and weighs 1.1 kg. ASUS claims that it would be able to give you nearly 4 hours of battery life which is commendable considering how tiny this thing is! The keyboard has backlight and you will have no problems working on it in the dark.
The only thing not to like about the EEE keyboard is the fact that it costs way too much for an Atom-powered device. If the ASUS can bring the price down to something like 399 Euros, it will make it very tempting for the normal consumer.
