Asus 1016p now available for purchase

The Asus 1016p can now be ordered at ExcaliburPC.com. The netbook in stock is powered by Atom N455 1.66GHz processor and comes with 320GB HDD, 2GB DDR3 RAM, 10.1-inch WSVGA display, Bluetooth 3.0 and 802.11n Wi-Fi.

Asus claims 10 hours of runtime from its 6-cell 48Wh battery. To me, it just looks like the Asus Eee 1018p minus the fingerprint reader.

We mentioned about the Asus Eee 1016p in the month of March where we were pretty impressed with its professional look. Not only that, it flaunts myriad of wireless radios too which includes WiMax, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth and even built-in 3G! With its 6-cell 63Wh battery, Asus claims that you will be able to get an impressive 14 hours of runtime.

Folks at techinstyle.tv were lucky enough to get hands on this netbook dressed in business suit.

Meet the next-generation Asus netbook – the Eee 1201PN that features full 1080p video playback via its HDMI port. It has a 12.1-inch LED display with 1366×768 resolution, 1GB, 160GB HDD and is powered by Intel Atom N450 processor that runs at 1.66GHz clock speed.

Battery capacity is 6-cells and we are expecting somewhere around 4.5 hours of runtime with GPU off and 2-3 hours with GPU activated.

Here is a WiMax-totting netbook from Asus – the Asus 1016P. From outside, this netbook clearly looks like a cousin brother of HP Mini 5102 which also has the same matte look. Heck, even the keyboard in both netbooks looks very similar!

Specs: 10.1-inch display, Intel Atom N450/Atom N455 CPU, 160GB/250GB hard disk, 1GB RAM, 3G, WiMax, Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth.

Asus claims that it can run for 9 hours in a row with its 6-cell 63Wh battery.

Asus is displaying a new Eee PC at CeBIT 2010, the Asus Eee 1018P. This one comes with a 10.1-inch display with the usual 1024×600 resolution. The 1018P comes with built-in 3G, something which still has not become a standard on netbooks so far.

Asus claims that you will be able to squeeze out 6.5 hours of runtime out of it. Oh, and it has a removable battery too

Other specs – 160GB/250GB hard disk,  1GB RAM, Intel N455/Intel N475 processor, Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1
