Archos 7 Home Tablet suffers from Suspend bug
Archos does it again – shipping awesome hardware with BETA, buggy firmware. The latest bug which is bugging the Archos 7 HT users is the Suspend bug, which turns the unit on automatically after every 10 minutes or so.
Here is a lame workaround for the moment – Set Screen Timeout to a low value, say 30 seconds. Suspend ends after 10 minutes then 30 seconds later the screen times out. This sequence loops as long as you don’t intervene. Like when you’re charging the Archos 7 Home Tablet overnight.

According to the review by pcpop (Chinese), the Archos 7 Home Tablet has a built-in stand, something which the iPad lacks. The performance is up to the scratch thanks to the ARM Cortex A8 processor.
