Acer 532h netbook, now with built-in 3G [Japan]

More Acer 532h news. Acer has introduced a new 3G version of the Acer 532h in Japan. Priced at $535, it is surely on the higher side. Specs, however have not undergone any change – 10.1-inch display, 1024×600 resolution, Atom N450 processor, 250GB hard disk, 1GB RAM, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth, 3 USB 2.0 ports, 0.3MP webcam and Windows 7 Starter. Oddly, for reason, it is being sold with the shabby 3-cell battery.

Acer Aspire 532H now with Matte display and UMTS

Let’s accept it – Netbooks with matte display are rare and difficult to find. That is why it is nice to see Acer releasing an addition to its Aspire 532h netbook, which is now available with a nice matte display and to add icing on the cake, they have thrown-in a UMTS modem too! Specs, however, remain the same – Intel Atom N450 processor, 1GB RAM, 250GB hard disk drive, 4400mAh 6-cell battery and runs Windows 7 Starter operating system.

Unfortunately, this is not a worldwide release. Available only in Germany at about 379 Euros. Note – The Acer 532h with matte display lacks Bluetooth

Acer Aspire 532H

Acer Aspire 532H is a pine trail netbook that is powered by Atom N450 processor. In fact, it is the first Acer netbook that is powered by the next generation Atom processor. It comes with GMA 1350 graphic chipset which now replaces the aging GMA 945 chipset that was found in first generation Atom netbooks.

Running Windows 7 Starter, it has 1GB RAM, 160GB hard disk and a 4400mAh battery. Priced very attractively at $299, this should give the Asus 1005PE, a Pine Trail Asus netbook a run for money which retails at $380.

The Acer Aspire 532h is the latest Atom powered netbook by Acer. Acer AO532h has an Atom N450 CPU (1.66GHz) that is based on the latest pine trail platform. Interestingly, it packs in a higher resolution 10.1-inch screen – 1280×768, something which is not-so-common in the world of netbooks.

Other specs include: 160GB/250GB hard disk, 1GB RAM, WiFi, Bluetooth. Runs Windows 7 Starter.

The only gripe we see is the use of 3-cell battery. Let’s hope they offer a 6-cell version of Aspire 532H because 3-cell won’t be giving more than 2-2.5 hours in any case.

Some juicy details about the Acer Aspire One 532h Pinetrail based netbook. It is a netbook with 10-inch display with a marvelous 1280×720 resolution. It runs the Intel’s new Pineview N450 processor that runs at 1.66GHz clock speed. Another great news for the GMA 500 haters, it packs GMA 3150 graphic chipset which will replace both GMA 500 and GMA 945 that was prevalent in the N270/N280 basd netbooks.

It will ship with Windows 7 Starter operating system.

The Aspire One is currently listed at Lithuanian reseller site with a price tag of £297/$483/€328 but we suspect that the price might even be lower once this one is released and shows up at e-tail.

The Intel’s Pineview N450 CPU has integrated DDR2 memory controller and graphics core built into the CPU itself, rather than the chipset.
